The African Development Bank has approved a loan worth over four-hundred-and 70 million US dollars for (around R8.4 billion) South Africa's Infrastructure Governance and Green Growth Programme. The bank says this is an important step in the country's transition toward a sustainable and low carbon economy. The programme is the second phase of the bank's strategic support for South Africa's Just Energy Transition.
