Residents of Magareng Municipality in Warrenton in the Northern Cape are planning to take over the control of the municipality's infrastructure and water services. This is the second community to have come up with such an initiative in the province. Last month residents of Kimberley in the Sol Plaatje Municipality also announced such an initiative.
