Parents of the young girls rescued at a brothel in Springs on Gauteng's East Rand have accused government of failing them. 42-year old Nigerian national Edozi Obi was fronting as a barber and a tuck shop owner but was allegedly running a brothel at the house. Obi and co-accused Mahlatse Hlatswayo are facing six charges including human trafficking, kidnapping and possession of pornographic material.
