SISTER REMEMBERS SOUTH AFRICAN MEDIC KILLED IN UAE CRASH

The Department of International Relations and Cooperation has added its voice to the chorus of condolences streaming in for South African paramedic and rescue worker, Mark Roxburgh.

Roxburgh and three other Emeratis crew members died when their helicopter crashed while on a rescue mission in Ras al-Khaimah in the north-eastern region of the United Arab Emirates on Saturday. It is alleged that the chopper clipped 'the worlds highest zip line' on the UAE's highest mountain, Jebel Jais, in the crash.
