Gauteng rapper, radio presenter, Tebogo Poopedi lost his sight at age of 14 from an injury he incurred during a soccer match in 2009.

The 2011 Census Data estimates that there are 7.5% South Africans with disability. About 1.7% of them experience severe visual difficulty.
