Some economists are optimistic that there are strong grounds for rating agency Standard and Poor's to keep South Africa's credit rating at triple 'B' minus with a negative outlook this Friday. Last Friday, Fitch kept the credit score one notch above junk status but changed the country's outlook from stable to negative. It has warned that political risks could hurt South Africa's economic growth. Nedbank’s head of strategic research, Mohammed Nalla.
