Southland farmer Harriet Bremner has taken out the Zanda McDonald Award for NZ, with Mitch Highett taking out the Australian title. The awards recognise people who are making a difference in agriculture in NZ and Australia, and are named after one of the founding members of a trans-Tasman agricultural networking group in 2005… Zanda McDonald was a prominent identity in the Australian beef and livestock industry but died following a tragic accident on his Queensland cattle property, aged just 41. Harriet Bremner joins us now from Brisbane.
