Dan Brier heads up the Farming Excellence Team at Beef + Lamb New Zealand. He trained as a vet and has worked in corporate farming.  He’s absolutely passionate about beef - in fact, he even runs a few Dairy/Charolais-cross calves on his property, in the Waikato.  Perhaps they’re the ultimate dairy-beef cross - who knows - well maybe Dan does since understanding genetics is his day job.  He joins us now to talk about the Informing NZ Beef project. It’s a seven-year project, and we're three years in.
