At the start of this month, new winter grazing rules came into force, requiring farmers to get consent from the council…  The last time we spoke to this Southland sheep and beef farmer, a few months ago, he had approached Environment Southland in regards to getting consent to plant his crop, which said they didn’t know what to do…  So we thought it was time to catch up with Ben Dooley and see what’s been happening…
