4:30PM: Customers across South East Queensland are without power in the wake of Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, with Energex crews working to restore power.
Energex Spokesperson Danny Donald told Sofie Formica, "We've got 268,700 to without supply, of those, 30,000 are in Brisbane, and the lion's share is still down on the Gold Coast at 140,000 plus, 42,000 in Logan. And in my hometown of Redland City, we're looking at 45,000."
"On the bright side, today our crews got out there, we got out there a lot earlier than we were anticipating, which was fantastic."
"From the cumulative height of this storm where we had about 330,000 affected, we've restored more than 60,000 now, so it's been a very productive day," Mr Donald continued.
