2:30PM: The Deputy Mayor of Brisbane has outlined how the city is preparing for recovery after Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred.
Deputy Mayor of Brisbane, Fiona Cunningham, told Peter Psaltis, "It's sad to say Brisbane is used to floods or we know what can happen when it floods, but a cyclone was a different risk."
"Now the risk is though, that flooding again, as we just see that that terrible ex-Alfie move on and bring with him a lot of rain."
"Right now, our focus is on making sure that life can return to normal in Brisbane as quickly as possible," Deputy Mayor Cunningham continued.
