How much of your potential are you leaving on the table because you're waiting for the right time to get your sh*t together?

We do we humans cling to comfort, certainty and the familiar, even when they're the very things keeping us stuck?

Harps and I bang on in this ep about the stories we tell ourselves, the ways we resist the things that could help us grow, and why being willing to suck at something is often the price of actually getting better at it.

I share a few recent realisations about myself and my tendency to resist the very help for, insist on doing things my own way, and then discover that the thing I was pushing back against was actually pretty bloody useful. Whoopies. 😂

But here's the thing. Ya don't need to have it all figured out... Ya don't need to feel confident... And ya definitely don't need to wait for the stars to align.

Being willing to adapt, do things differently, learn as you go, and take action before you feel completely comfortable is where it's at!

And if you're waiting for the perfect time to start, take a look at your watch now... I think it's bloody time!

Roll With The Punches is where we step into the ring and go toe to toe with the hard sh*t life throws our way.

Hosted by former boxing champ turned strength coach and speaker Tiff Cook, RWTP brings you big conversations with world-class guests about psychology, relationships, trauma, the brain, and the patterns that can make a bloody mess of our lives.

If you're curious about human behaviour, keen to challenge the stories you tell yourself, and want to understand why the hell you do what you do, you're in the right place. Tune in. Tiff's in your corner.

The goal? To question what you've always believed, understand yourself a little better, and turn those aha moments into actual change.

Because knowing better and doing better are two very different things.

And let's be honest... life's gonna keep throwing punches. We may as well learn how to roll with them.
