Why do we sometimes find it easier to jump off a cliff, swim in massive surf or lift a stupidly heavy weight than have an honest conversation about how we're actually feeling?

Well, these are some of the questions Scotty and I get stuck into as we explore the whole hard things conversation, and why the thing that looks courageous on the outside isn't always the thing we're actually scared of.

So if you're up for a chat about why we deliberately put ourselves in dangerous situations, how our childhoods shape the way we operate, and why some of us would rather do everything the hard way than ask for a bloody hand... this might be the one for you!

Scotty shares some exceptional life tips, including how his fear of looking stupid has sometimes seen him throw a metaphorical hand grenade into a situation rather than admit he doesn't know how to do something. Which, let's be honest, is one way to handle it. Not necessarily the best way, though.

There's a bit of ADHD, a few uncomfortable truths, some excellent examples of Scotty being Scotty, and a reminder that doing hard things is pretty bloody useful. But understanding WHY we're doing them is where the rubber really hits the road.

Life hits hard. Good. So do we.
Roll With The Punches is a front-row seat to the messy, beautiful, brutal bits of being human.

Hosted by Tiff Cook - former boxer, coach, speaker, rascal, and someone who’s copped a few uppercuts from life and keeps getting back up. She sits down with global survivors, scientists, rebels, rockstars, and everyday legends to ask one thing:

What does it really take to get back up when life drops you?

We talk breakdowns, breakthroughs, big truths, and the bullsh*t we all carry. Behind the masks. Beneath the armour. Real conversations that crack something open in all of us.

We’re built to break.
And we become dangerous by design.
Honest work over hard work. Every damn time.
