No sh*t.  It's just not on, right?
We as a nation, as humanity, need to better understand what's driving this and how we can move forward and better support ourselves.  Our brothers, our sisters, our colleagues and our neighbours.
Mental health is often misunderstood and swept under the nearest rug.
Rae Bonney is somewhat of a gift, in particular to the men's mental health and suicide prevention space.  She is an honorary lad in the Men's Shed organisation and she's passionate about taking a stand for how our men and boys are experiencing life.  She is a speaker, a radio presenter, a Beyond Blue ambassador, a counsellor, an active member of the men's suicide prevention cause and someone who shares her first hand experience with past and present mental health awareness.
For me this was a great chat, edging me that little bit closer towards understanding what life can be like for the people around me and 'touch wood' how I can best be their life-line should someone I care about ever turn to me for help.
