The US Supreme Court considers a January 6 prosecutions law that could impact the Trump election interference case.

The Supreme Court's conservative majority indicated that it may toss out a charge prosecutors have lodged against hundreds of people who violently invaded the Capitol on Jan. 6.   Elie Mystal, the Justice Correspondent for The Nation, is here to break this down. 

The Arkansas State Conference of the NAACP and the Lawyers Committee on Civil Rights joined a lawsuit to fight anti-DEI efforts in Arkansas. The Director of the Educational Opportunities Project from the Lawyers' Committee will explain why they filed an injunction to stop the state's Literacy, Empowerment, Accountability, Readiness, Networking, and School Safety Act.

It's been a year since Sudan's civil war started. With no end in sight, millions need humanitarian aid, facing acute levels of hunger and on the brink of famine.  

Over 18 million black veterans will play a huge part in this year's election. 
We'll talk to two veterans who will explain why their votes are critical.

As Louisiana fights for a second predominantly voting district, the state supreme court gave the green light for the state to create a predominately white city, segregating Baton Rouge. Gary Chambers will be here to explain. 

Hope in Haiti seems to be dwindling as violent gangs initiate new attacks on the capital city while infighting over the transitional council's leadership. The Executive Director of the  Black Alliance for Just Immigration will join us and provide insight into what's happening in the Caribbean country. 

Millions of households could have bigger internet bills or no internet service if a federal broadband subsidy program they're enrolled in runs out of money.  We'll talk to Baltimore City's Director of Broadband and digital equity about what will happen to those who depend on the Affordable Connectivity Program.

A follow-up to a disturbing case of Derontae Martin, the Missouri teen found shot in the head in the attic of a white supremacist.  The FBI has concluded its investigation and ruled his death a suicide.  Derontae's mother will tell us how she feels about the investigation. 

Brennan Center for Justice studied nearly a billion voter files and found that the gap between white and black voter turnout is growing. Brennan's Senior Director of Voting Rights will explain why it's increasing and how it will impact the ballot in November.
