Had a very successful 9-Pin Tap Tourney on Saturday to raise money for the Rock Foundation, and then I sat around and did absolutely nothing yesterday, with the exception of watching football. Speaking of artificial intelligence, we had a couple of additional stories about the technology this morning. Including a professor from Canada who got all his news from A.I. bots for a full month. And his data says that the news it fed him was fully accurate just 47% of the time…partially accurate 45% of the time…and the other 8% was bullshit. Plus, 41% of travelers claim they'll trust A.I. recommendations over their friends and social media. Which feels sad. In sports, the Bucks lost again last night to the Spurs, the Badger men's basketball team takes on Rutgers tomorrow, the NFL divisional round kicks off tomorrow afternoon & concludes on Sunday, and another betting scandal in the world of college basketball. Another day in the mid-50's as we get ready for colder temps this weekend. It's Hypothetical Thursday, so we once again asked each other hypothetical questions. Jean's question for Brian was: "Who was the most influential person in your life?". Brian's question for Jean was: "Would you rather fly First-Class every time you fly & stay in a 1-star hotel...or stay in a 5-star hotel whenever you go somewhere & have the middle seat in economy?" Office Cora joined us just after 8am to let us know what she's up to this weekend in the 715. Her hypothetical question for us was: "If you could only have one condiment for the rest of your life, which one would you choose?" Tuesday is here and the weather is going to be beautiful! 62° and mostly sunny today. Took down most of the Halloween decorations yesterday. Week 9 of the NFL regular season finished up last night with the Cowboys losing to the Cardinals, so we took a look at our Pigskin Picks…and it's not getting any better for Jean. Yesterday, People magazine announced it's "Sexiest Man Alive" on Jimmy Fallon's show, and Macaulay Culkin recently reprised his role as Kevin McCallister from "Home Alone" in an ad for Home Instead. Plus, is "Wheel of Fortune" getting too raunchy? Great story about a couple of farm workers in California who helped save a bunch of kids from a burning bus, and another story from California where three brothers found a mint Superman comic #1 in their mother's attic after she passed away. A recent poll found that the average parent has to answer 46 questions a day from their child. YIKES! Even though Thanksgiving is still weeks away, we had a couple of turkey-day related stories this morning, including a new Thanksgiving-flavored Oreo collection, and Amazon's $25 Thanksgiving meal.
