With the Big River Rally rapidly approaching, we got on the phone with Howard Kelly...the VP of Marketing for S&S Cycle in Viola, WI. The guided ride on Saturday, June 28th which will be led by Bill "The Big Unit" Michaels, will leave from La Crosse & head out to Viola to visit the S&S Cycle facility. We talked to Howard about his lengthy career in the world of motorcycles, the history of S&S, the one-of-a-kind tour we'll be taking once we get to S&S, and about his favorite part of working for an industry leader.

We once again got on the phone with Mr. Skin of MrSkin.com to talk about this year's edition of his annual Anatomy Awards as we lead up to the Oscars on Sunday. It's his 26th edition of the list and this year's rundown includes some extremely odd categories including "Best Rab-TIT", "Best Sassquirt", and "Best Reverse Teeter-Totter" to name a few. After crushing it at the La Crosse Center last weekend, we got Eva(Amanda) from Eva Under Fire on the phone to recap the band's performance at the Riverfront Revolt, when we can expect new music from them, what it's like being in a band with your spouse, and all sorts of other stuff.

As we get closer to next weekend's "Riverfront Revolt" at the La Crosse Center, featuring Asking Alexandria, Beartooth, Starset, Memphis May Fire, Pop Evil, & Eva Under Fire...we got on the phone with the frontman of Pop Evil, Leigh Kakaty! We talked about the upcoming new album from the band, how things have morphed over the years with lineup changes, what to expect when they hit the stage next Saturday, and what is the least "rock-star" thing he does.

Legendary comedian, Colin Mochrie from "Whose Line Is It Anyway", joined Brian on the phone just before the New Year to talk about his upcoming shows with his partner-in-comedy, Brad Sherwood, at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee & the Pablo Center at the Confluence in Eau Claire. The hilarious live improv show "Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Asking For Trouble" is making it's way through the Midwest, and Colin joined us to talk about his comedic influences, dealing with hecklers, working on the "Red Green" show and much more!

Ari Lehman was the first actor to ever play Jason Vorhees in the "Friday the 13th" franchise. His scene at the end of the film really solidified the fact that Jason NEVER dies!!! After his appearance in the first "Friday the 13th" film, Ari went on to have a successful film career and is now touring with his band, "First Jason", where he plays a mean keytar! We got Ari on the phone this week to talk about his career, his favorite Jason kill, and all sorts of other things.

With the success of "Ramon Ayala" from Giovannie & the Hired Guns, Brian got frontman Giovannie Yanez on the phone to talk about the band's path to success, who Ramon Ayala is, what's coming up in the future for the group, and a bunch of other stuff! Leading up to the 2022 Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 20th, Brian & Doc got Kyle Rickey of the MRN(Motor Racing Network) on the phone to talk about the race. Kyle Rickey is a Turn Announcer on NASCAR Cup Series Broadcasts, spends time in the turns and the booth on NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series broadcasts, and you can hear him every day as the Host and Producer of NASCAR Hot Pass. Kyle now lives in Connecticut after spending 9 years living near the MRN headquarters in Concord, NC. Kyle’s been with the network since 2002. He has spent time as track announcer at Thompson, Stafford, and Waterford speedways and also once worked as the Media Coordinator at Killingly (CT) Public School District. In his spare time he enjoys go kart racing and theme parks all across the country. 

On Tuesday, February 9th, we got a visit from Amy Gabay of La Crosse Local & Jay Breier from the La Crosse Center to talk about the "La Crosse Winter Roots Festival" at the Center on February 12th. Featuring food, beverages, live music, local artists and more!

Smile Empty Soul is coming to Angry's Way Out this Friday night & we talked to their frontman, Sean Danielsen, about the show, cigars, and what's going on with the band this fall.

May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and we spoke with Dr. Neil Brahmbhatt from Gundersen Lutheran. He is the department chair of behavioral health and a psychiatrist at Gundersen, and he joined us to talk about mental health. We discussed men's reluctance to seek mental health help, using technology to help with our mental health, and the importance of the National Suicide Hotline. The number is 1-800-273-8255.
