Grant Bilse

Bad News with Happy Music/Daily Check-Ins

I'm happy to say that Jean's cleaning guy came over to my house yesterday and did a FANTASTIC job!!!

The wife was VERY pleased with the outcome.

On the show today, we reviewed our Week 2 Pigskin Picks(Jean lost...AGAIN), and we talked to Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show!

Plus, Fall officially starts at 7:04pm tonight, so we took a look at some of our favorite things about Autumn.

In the news this morning, Lauren Boebert denies the allegations she had sex with three of her staff members, CNN & other news outlets are suing the White House, a teen in Texas allegedly handed her newborn baby to a stranger and took off in an Uber, Shock Top teams up with Spirit Halloween on a Candy Corn beer, no criminal charges in the death of Nolan Wells, and Mt. Dew is willing to pay someone $1 million for proof that Bigfoot exists!

In sports, the Rams beat the Giants on MNF to wrap up week 2 in the NFL, Jaxson Dart goes out with an injury, Matt Stafford passes Philip Rivers on the all-time TD list, a look at the Week 3 schedule, Michael Penix Jr. is getting the start against the Packers this Thursday night, updates on the injuries to Caleb Williams & Kyler Marray, the Brewers start a three-game series against the Phillies tonight, and NASCAR isn't going to punish or fine Hocevar or Blaney for the fight on pit road at Bristol.

We let you know what's on TV & streaming today/tonight and what's new on DVD for New Release Tuesday. Plus, Ozzfest is officially returning to the US in 2027!!!!!

Someone found a $30 painting at an estate sale that is apparently worth $250,000!!! Plus, a dog that almost died in a house fire gets saved by firefighters that refused to give up, and a woman is going viral for bringing free books to kids on her special trolley!

Elsewhere in sports, an update on Alex Bregman's injuries, Doc Rivers is done coaching & going to become an NBA analyst now, a couple of high school coaches on the SAME TEAM fought in the locker room at half time, and Shaq becomes an honorary FBI agent.

And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a guy in Arizona who got busted for impersonating a police officer, a #FloridaMan who pointed his gun at some firefighters who were trying to save him, a guy who was towing a two-story house in San Francisco Bay with his boat, & a youth hockey player who slashed another player in the back of the head.
