Bad News with Happy Music

Back to reality!

One more day in the 80's before it cools off for the rest of the week.

In the news this morning, the latest on Christa Pike, a guy breaks into a tiger enclosure at a zoo & gets mauled to death, a mass shooting in Pennsylvania, a world-record pumpkin, Mama Celeste pizzas are getting axed, and the Flock camera company is probably going to be laying off a bunch of people.

In sports, the Guardians come back from an 0-2 deficit to beat the White Sox & win the ALDS, the Brewers took game one from the Dodgers last night, a look at today's MLB schedule, the latest from yesterday's NFL action including that bone-headed play by the Commanders, results of the NASCAR race yesterday, the WNBA Finals begin on Saturday, and the Atlanta Dream are trying to move their home games into a bigger arena.

We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, Megan Fox has subscription material and it's allegedly "Breaking the internet".

Elsewhere in sports, the new AP Top 25 rankings are out, a Dodgers fan is going viral for keeping a ball instead of giving it to a kid, and MLB is looking at shortening the regular season and expanding the ALDS & NLDS to a best-of-seven series.

A heart-warming story about a senior cat that's looking for it's furever home. And a teenager literally gave an elderly man the shoes off his feet.

Had a new "Karen of the Day" from right here in Wisconsin...along with an update on a Karen we talked about last week.

Brian talked about why he was bawling on Saturday morning...and Office Cora joined us just after 8am to talk about her upcoming trip to Nashville!

And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a #FloridaWoman who was burying cats alive because she thought they were demons, a Phys-Ed teacher who was under the influence during school, a woman in Iowa who was using stolen credit card numbers to rent bounce houses, a woman's video of the bathroom at TJ Maxx goes viral, and is STD-transmitted diarrhea really a "thing"?
