Welcome to Friday. Strange shower at about 4am, but it looks like sunshine and near 90° later today.



In the news this mornings, a massive fire at an oil refinery plant in California, former WI Governor Tommy Thompson is considering running again for the office, Kwik Trip is getting rid of pennies, and an update on the list of the Coolest Things Made In Wisconsin!



In sports, the 49ers beat the Rams on Thursday Night Football, a recap of the three MLB Wild Card games from yesterday, a look at the rest of the NFL's Week 5 schedule. A preview of tomorrow's Badger game in Michigan, and the WNBA Finals kick off tonight.



Elsewhere in sports, a couple of apologies about last weekend's Ryder Cup.

Not a big fan of A.I., but Amazon just introduced a new feature for Ring doorbell cams to incorporate A.I. to help find lost pets by connecting to other doorbell cams in your neighborhood. Also had a fantastic story about a young girl who just spent almost three years of her life in a hospital and she's finally able to go home with her family.



A new "Karen of the Day" who got upset about another woman in the background of her workout video at a gym.



Talked about a list of the top horror movies of 2025(so far), and another list of quirky & weird "wellness hacks" endorsed by celebrities.
