Bad News with Happy Music/Daily Check-Ins

A long week is coming to an end with the Brewers going to the World Series...and a massive show at the La Crosse Center tonight featuring Godsmack & Dorothy!

In the news this morning, President Trump reverses course on livestreaming the execution of the Fort Hood shooter, thousands of laminators are recalled due to fire risk, a deadly school shooting in Oregon, another "House of Horrors" in Ohio with deplorable conditions,

In sports, the Brewers sweep the Dodgers and move on to the World Series, a look at the MLB schedule, Week 6 in the NFL kicked off last night with the Broncos beating the Seahawks in overtime, the WNBA Finals begin tomorrow, and the Badgers take on #12 UCLA tomorrow night.

We talked about what's on TV & streaming this weekend...and what's new in theaters. Plus, the official GTA 6 trailer is out...and a new documentary about Bigfoot is coming to Amazon Prime next week.

Cool story about a couple that got some help from a few strangers so they could get to their wedding on time. And a teenager in Georgia has a really cool charity that helps local kids get a bike, a helmet, and learn how to ride!

The latest trend on TikTok is just laying on the floor, apparently.

Elsewhere in sports, Jon Rahm is losing a LOT of money, Troy Aikman & Joe Buck are headed towards a potential break-up, and a soccer coach goes viral for trying to avoid sneaking a peek at a woman's cleavage.

Had some Halloween-related stuff on the show this morning including the most haunted cities in the country, the top trending costumes according to Google, and the scariest movie to come out the year you were born.

Doc joined us to talk NASCAR racing thanks to County Materials in Holmen & Eau Claire.

And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", a guy in NH overdoses...gets NARCAN'd and brought back...then gets popped for DUI a half hour later...and then got another DWI charge a few hours later after he drove to the impound lot! Plus, a #FloridaMan gets arrested for DUI...and is so drunk, he can't tie his own shoes. Also, a woman gets arrested for faking her own death after she got caught starting multiple fraudulent GoFundMe fundraisers, & an OB-GYN is reminding women they shouldn't use wicker as a sex-toy
