Bad News with Happy Music/Daily Check-Ins

Holy crap are we loaded today!

Kicked things off with the results of an online poll that asked people, "You are asked to cross a large cemetery . . . in the middle of the night. What do you take with you?"

In the news, Selma Blair got arrested after biting a flight attendant...punching another one...and trying to open a door mid-flight, RJ Mitte...who played Walter White Jr. on "Breaking Bad" has died, an update on the deadly mass shooting in Erie, a recall on Dodge Rams, the latest on the raid on Ilhan Omar, and some people are calling for a ban on Barbie dolls after some questionable packaging.

In sports, the Bills beat the Rams on MNF to wrap up Week 5 in the NFL, a look at the Week 6 schedule, the Brewers got another win over the Dodgers yesterday & are now just two wins away from the World Series, in the ALCS, the Guardians topped the Rays last night in Game 1 of that series. Michah Parsons won't be back for the Packers as they take on the Cowboys this weekend...the Pack also lost Javon Hargrave for the season, and Dre Greenlaw gets suspended for head-butting another player.

We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, what's new on New Release Tuesday. And Dan Levy has some harsh criticism for Shane Gillis after his appearance on SNL this past weekend.

Great story about a family that recently sold hundreds of acres of their land in Texas so it can be turned into a state park, a company is working to make peanuts safer for people with allergies, and a simple lemonade stand has grown into a massive charity organization!

Halloween is right around the corner and this morning, we tested Jean's ability to complete the Halloween song lyric.

Plus, we took a look at how we did with our Week 5 Pigskin Picks(hint: Brian beat Jean BADLY).

Elsewhere in sports, a look at the start of the NBA regular season one week from tonight, a Michael Jordan jersey just sold for a butt-load of money, and TNA has fired Max Caster after his appearance on "Bound for Glory" this past weekend.

Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports Show joined us just after 8am to talk about the Packer win on Sunday against the Bears, the Brewers series vs. the Dodgers, and his Holy Grail of sports memorabilia.

And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a teacher who got busted for grooming a 15 year-old student, a #FloridaWoman who got caught living in a storage unit, a serial pisser at a college in MN ends up being one of their professors, a guy in NC who got arrested and pinched the genitals of the arresting officer, and a street light in San Diego falls over after years of getting peed on by dogs!
