New Country artist, Dasha, isn’t afraid to shine a spotlight on others with her music which is great news for everyone but her ex.

It’s no secret her break-up banger, “Austin,” is a direct reflection of the real-life fury she experienced from her on-again-off-again relationship with her ex, but turns out the rest of her debut album, What Happens Now? plus the forthcoming Deluxe version Is also about him.

“The whole album is about the same person,” she said before sharing he’s definitely aware of it. “I’ve called him out so many times....I sent him the album before it came out.”

So what does he think? “Don’t know, don’t care, doesn’t matter,” she quickly responded before sharing it “feels so good” to have her first hit “inspired solely by this douchebag.”

It’s on to bigger and better things for the 23-year-old who is just getting started with conquering her dreams of a music career which she’s had since childhood when she started writing poetry.

“I actually started with poetry, I won this U.S.-wide competition for poetry in second grade,” she revealed. “I wrote a poem called, ‘Life Is In My Heart,’ and it was like, the most dramatic thing for an eight-year-old to write and I was like, serving and it won.”

While her talent was clear to all, it was most clear to her dad who she says gifted her a recording session for her 13th birthday to kick-start her career.

“My dad was like, my first manager,” she said. “He would get me like, local songwriter nights and winery shows, and coffee shop gigs and stuff like that,” she shared. For my 13th birthday, he was like, ‘Let’s record this thing!’ Music video and everything, he helped me get it all done.”

As she’s gaining popularity in the music world, Dasha also makes clear she has big dreams of acting and hopes to see herself on the big screen one day. “I would be really fun to play the bitch,” she said of her most-desired role. “Like, the mean girl, like Rizzo in Grease for example, or Regina George [Mean Girls] but I could also see myself doing like a really fun, like a spin-off of Footloose — if they ever redid that, playing Ariel would be like, my dream role.”

The sky is the limit for California native, who is making her debut at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry on June 15. The debut is made extra special for her as she’s never even set foot in the famed venue.

“I’ve never been, I’ve never set foot in there,” she shared before expressing how honored she is to have an invite to take the stage. “Once I heard that I was going to have my debut, I was like, ‘I want that to be my first time.”

She continued, “This is legit, it’s the culture of Country music. I’m so grateful to even get the opportunity … I got the outfit all ready … It’s going to be amazing.”

There’s a lot to celebrate for Country duo Maddie & Tae. Following the recent release of their high-energy, summer single about saying goodbye to “Sad Girl Summer,” the duo’s Taylor Kerr [Tae]alsorevealed she is expecting baby number two come fall.

Hours after announcing Tae’s pregnancy on social media, the pair joined Audacy’s Rob + Holly for a CMA Fest interview at Nashville’s Hard Rock Cafe.

“We’re having baby number two late this fall,” Tae shared while showing off her her baby bump in a pink dress. “I have a two-year-old girl, but this one is a boy and Maddie is already a boy mom, so I’m like [asking her] ‘What are all the tips?!’”

Duo partner MaddieFont welcomed her son, ForrestHenry, last September and was more than ready to offer up advice for Tae, as well as supply her with all her best hand-me-downs.

“I gotchu girl,” Maddie said confidently. “I gave her all the hand-me-downs, she’s ready to go! I saved them all [because] I know she wanted a boy so bad so I was manifesting, I had the bag packed ready to go.”

Ready to support her bestie in any way she can, Maddie said her biggest piece of advice for Tae — or any new boy mom — is to “Change diapers quickly!”

“It’s just an art form,” she laughed. “It just has to be fast!”

With growing families, new music and songwriting careers, the duo says they are living the lives they always dreamed of and hope to inspire other women who feel like they have to pick between raising a family and chasing a dream.

“We’ve always wanted to be moms,” Maddie expressed. “Being songwriters and musicians and being moms are like our two biggest dreams in the world. We don’t really sleep a lot and we kinda feel like zombies, but we are doin’ it and I think our goal is to just really show women that you truly can do it all. I can’t guarantee that you will get rest, but you can truly have it all — you don’t have to pick one or the other.”

Living out their dreams have also given the pair new found confidence that shines in their fresh single, “Sad Girl Summer,” available now. “Honestly, we’ve just gotten more confident in life and you can hear that in our songwriting,” shared Tae. “We have this new found confidence, we feel like we can do anything and we’re just havin’ fun.”

Added Maddie, “After you birth a human you’re like, ‘Oh yeah, I got this. I’m OK, I can do anything.”

On that note, the duo wrapped up by sharing they have a new song coming that specifically highlights their journeys as moms on an EP arriving later this fall. “We’ve got a song coming out on an EP later this year that you’ll definitely hear that thread of womanhood and motherhood and just that phase of life that we’re in right now,” shared Tae teasing the new project.

JordanDavis is proud to be a father of three, Dad fails and all.

During his time on Audacy’s Friday Night Takeover with Rob + Holly, Jordan opened up about becoming a father of three in the past year and how it’s changed life at home. “The other day we were doing lunch and my middle kid is losing it, my daughter was in a mood so she’s all fussy and stuff — I’m tryna get lunches and stuff figured out and then I hear this thing on the couch,” Jordan shared. “I’m like, ‘What is that?!’ And I was like, ‘Oh my god, that’s my third kid, that’s my other son…’ Dad of the year right here, baby! Where’s my award?”

While “Dad brain” results in some epic fails for the 36-year-old, he wouldn’t change it for a thing and is even encouraging his fellow artists to follow in his footsteps and have three kids for themselves.

“I told [Luke] Combs the other day… He was like, ‘Dude, you got three kids now?’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, but if you’ve got two, you’ve got three. It’s kinda the same thing,’” Jordan shared. “Luke was like, ‘Yeah, except for the whole other person,’” he laughed.

With his hands full and an open mind to even more kids (should his wife, Kristen want) Jordan couldn’t be more excited to share he took his own advice to “Buy Dirt.” Three years after releasing his mega-hit, “Buy Dirt” featuring Luke Bryan, Davis has finally found his own slice of land where he says there’s plenty of room for his kids to run.

“We just got a farm a little outside of town so we’re able to go down there and kind of disconnect,” Jordan said before sharing he felt like a hypocrite having a song titled “Buy Dirt” and not owning any for himself. “I literally have a song called ‘Buy Dirt’ out and I don’t have any, so I was finally able to [buy]. Me and a buddy of mine, we found a spot about two hours outside of Nashville. It’s awesome, man. We take the kids out there and let ‘em ride around in 4-wheelers and play in the woods. It’s cool to get to go out there and disconnect.”
