Luke Bryan has big plans going into 2024.
Fans can rest easy knowing Luke has plans to see them on the road with a 2024 tour in addition to continuing his journey as a judge on American Idol for a seventh year beginning February.
“I’m definitely going to be out on tour,” he told Audacy’s Rob + Holly. “We haven’t announced all of that stuff yet, but it’s comin’ down the pipeline.”
While he’s excited to continue touring and mentoring the next generation of stars on Idol, Luke says it’s all about balance for him and finding a good balance between everything he loves is his main priority in the new year.
“The past couple years of my life with American Idol, Vegas [residency], my tour dates and stuff put a lot on my plate and I’ve learned that I can survive it,” he said. “It’s been like two years of Navy Seal training for me — but the main thing is a nice balance.”
He continued, “My main thing is always trying to focus on writing songs — carving out enough time to write songs — and then making some albums and then having a nice balance.”
In addition to juggling all aspects of his career, Bryan also has a few bucket list items he’s hoping to check off alongside his family members in the new year. “When I’m home, I love being home, I love being with my family almost too much,” he laughed. “I’ve done a really, really great job of brainwashing any children into doing exactly what I like to do.”
“I’ve still got bucket list stuff and places I want to go and see and travel. The main thing with me is a New Zealand Brown Trout fishing trip,” he said before adding in a few more dream trips, like riding a horse in the Arctic Circle. “I’ve got a lot of crazy little things that we’ll try to check off the list as a family.”
