RileyGreen has captured hearts with his Country vocals and handsome looks, so we wonder — would he ever consider adding to the list and add acting to that list?

“That’d be cool,” told Audacy’s Rob + Holly before second-guessing himself. “I don’t know [though]. I like to goof off — I feel like I don’t like shootin’ music videos, that’s such an awkward thing when people are all around shootin’ just you and so, maybe I wouldn’t, maybe it would be awkward.”

He continued, “What I think is, if you just happened to be filming me and I was in the right mood, maybe. But I don’t know what that movie would be called.”

While it doesn’t sound like we’ll be see Riley on the big screen anytime soon, he has released a new single. Green recently dropped a fresh version of the title track to his debut studio album, “Different ‘Round Here,” featuring Luke Combs.

“Ever since we originally released the song a few years ago, we have seen so many military families, athletes, and hard-working everyday people use the song in their own videos,” Green said regarding the release. “It has also been one of those songs that proud hometown fans sing along to the loudest, night after night. While up in Canada with Luke at the end of last year, we saw the same thing and it felt right re-releasing it together.”

It’s been just over a year since ParkerMcCollum and wife, HallieRay tied the knot and the couple is as in love as ever.

During a recent interview with Audacy’s Rob + Holly, Parker shared some of the lessons he’s learned in his first years of marriage and explained just how much he loves being a husband.

“It’s kind of nice to have an opportunity in life to step up and deliver in not only my career, but at home too,” he said. “As much as you put into it is what you’ll get out of it, so I’ve embraced the opportunity.”

Beautifully said by the 30-year-old, who also laughed while explaining some of the not-so glam moments. “We’ve been remodeling this house for a few months, that was kind of our anniversary gift,” Parker shared. “My Dad was like, ‘You’re domesticated now,’ and I was like, ‘Yes I am.’”

He continued, “I take the trash out on Tuesdays, remodeling a house, landscaping, I’m talkin’ to my pool guy, I’m like — ‘How did we get here?’” he laughed.

One year of marriage isn’t the only big celebration for McCollum. The Texas-native is also celebrating having the #1 song in Country music this week with, “Handle On You,” and will release his new album, Never Enough, Friday May 12.

“Every way that I approach Country music I’m trying to be legit and be the real deal and not ever [be] phoning it in,” Parker said of his career. Fans can expect a lot more “legit” Country from Parker on the forthcoming album, available Friday.

Parker McCollum | Friday Night Takeover

ParkerMcCollum is flexing a different creative muscle as he works on designing his own Luchese Cowboy boots. The Texas native signed a multi-year deal with Luchese boots back in 2020 and is now getting the chance to try his hand at boot-building by creating boots for his own line at Luchese.

“I signed a pretty lengthy deal with [Luchese] designing more than boots, but boots is a part of it,” he told Rob + Holly while at Stagecoach Country Music Festival over the weekend. “They’re comin’ and they will have my signature on them.”

Parker continued on to explain a little bit of the lengthy process and confirmed even though it takes a while, designing boots is still easier than writing a song.

“They have every type of leather and material in the world at their factory in El Paso and I went out there and sat down for several hours a couple weeks ago and just kind of threw stuff together and I was talkin’ talkin’ talkin’ and they write it down,” he said. “In a couple of months they’ll have some samples and I’ll try ‘em on — comfort is a big thing for me. I kind of run around on stage in boots and not all boots are great for that so I try to kind of keep stuff like that in mind and be creative. I think it’ll be badass.”

While the boots are still early in the production process, Parker has another exciting project that fans only have to wait days for. McCollum is set to release his second studio album, Never Enough, May 12. The new album is the follow-up to his major label debut, Gold Chain Cowboy. 

“[The album title] is just something that had been on my mind for the better half of about a year — probably a couple years now,” Parker shared. “Always trying to climb a mountain and you get to the top and instead of enjoying it, you’re instantly looking at the next mountain to climb. It just seems like, ‘at what point is it enough?’”
