Forget number one songs, Bailey Zimmerman is out to find his #1 girl and during his recent appearance on Audacy’s Friday Night Takeover with Rob + Holly, Zimmerman shared he has no shame in his game.
“I just want to find a wife, bro. I just want to find a wife,” he responded when his Stagecoach wardrobe — or lack thereof — was questioned. Zimmerman took the stage at the California Country music festival last month with a shirt that read, “I Like Older Women,” but ended up stripping it off at the end of his set along with everything else — except his underwear.
“I just figured I’m going to show who I am and they can be like, ‘Oh I don’t like him, or ‘Oh, I like that,’” Zimmerman said of his antics and making it well-known he’s on the hunt for a forever plus one. While his actions might seem a bit silly to some, Zimmerman shared he’s 100% serious about finding the right woman to settle down with.
“My grandma always told me she got with my grandpa when he was 17 and she was 18 and that’s how their love lasted because they went through everything in life together,” he shared. “That’s what I’m lookin’ for, I’m lookin’ for that grandpa, grandma type of love.”
“I want to start family traditions where every year we do the potluck and then we do the thing at church for Christmas," he continued. "I really care about that, it’s one of my big life goals — family.”
So what does the perfect partner look like for Zimmerman? “I’m all over the place, I’ve got ADHD really bad, I don’t have a schedule or anything, I’m just kind of all over the place,” he admitted before saying the ideal woman would not want him to change who he is. “I don’t want to change who I am, so I gotta just find a girl that loves it.”
On top of an accepting nature, Zimmerman hopes his future partner will have better organizational habits than he does and make a mean Chicken Alfredo. Doesn’t sound too hard to find, and with his Country status people might think it’s easier than it really is.
“Even as I’ve gotten into the world and everybody knows me or whatever — it’s still hard as hell,” the 24-year-old shared. “I figured more people knowing me, I’d have a better chance… I thought it’d be a game of numbers but it’s not. It’s like, dang!”
