Ellie Cole, Australia’s most prolific Paralympian, is a swimming legend with 17 medals, including 6 golds. Despite losing a leg as a young child, she has inspired a generation of young people with physical challenges to pursue sports, embodying optimism and resilience.

In Rio 2016, Ellie achieved the remarkable feat of medaling in all six of her events. After competing in four consecutive Paralympics, she retired as Australia’s flag bearer at the Tokyo Games, leaving an indelible mark on the world of Paralympic sports.
