In this episode we speak with one of life's true gentlemen, Des Lonergan – born in Yarrawonga and working in many jobs including banking, broadcasting, real estate and a celebrant – Des has also served his community in many volunteering roles and is a current board member of the Ovens and Murray Football Netball League. Married to Maureen for over 40 yrs with four children and half a dozen grand children, Des is still loving life living in Wodonga.

In this episode we speak to Gary Treeve OAM who served in the Australian Army for 20 years that included a stint in Vietnam. Married his Japanese wife Midori, six weeks after meeting her and 55 yrs later are still happily married living in Wodonga and having 2 daughters.

Gary on leaving the Army became a Welding and OH&S Teacher at Wodonga TAFE and has also spent almost 4 decades Volunteering a big chunk being with the Department of Veteran Affairs with Men’s Health Peer Education.
