Rita shares how meeting Rickey at the Stardome in 2016 helped shape her move from corporate life to full-time comedy, including his advice to ditch the pre-show Jack Daniels and own her talent sober.

They talk about the unseen grind behind building a special, weeks on the road, and why young comics can’t skip the club reps. Rickey also breaks down the late-night work behind his “Fix It Jesus” Wednesday segment and the role of musical comedy, before they dig into cancel culture, classic TV comedy, and why audiences can always change the channel.
