Dr. Raghu Tadikamalla, cardiologist at AHN, joined the show. Reducing salt intake can help reduce blood pressure. A new study details information about salt reduction and how it effects our food, not just from a salt shaker. 1.5 teaspoons was dropped in the study, but people would need to make their own food. Taste buds would need to adapt. What's most realistic to lower salt?  Eat LESS foods with salts and MORE vegetables.
