Chrystal is a 4.0 student enrolled in AP Biology, and two college courses through Pitt University and CCAC.   She has been a member of the Sto-Rox marching band as a percussionist since the 7th grade.  She has played with well-known musicians such as Afro Yaqui Music Collective and the Lemon Bucket Orchestra on many accounts.  She's also played in WACA (Western Allegheny County Area) Honors Band and was recently accepted into Lions Band, a musical group of honor band students from across Pennsylvania.   

Chrystal is a member of SADD and Student Council which gave her opportunities or plan events and fundraisers for the school.  She also, pre-COVID, ran the student run concession stand for basketball and football events.

She's participated in several Junior Achievement programs and initiatives such as student teaching and a Power Skills Summit.  Chrystal was invited a few times to speak at Junior Achievement events including the Spirit of Enterprise Awards in January 2021 where she interviewed and introduced the CEO of Harbison Walker International, Ms. Carol Jackson.

Chrystal's future plans are to attend college for Secondary Education Music.
