Richard King spoke with State Member for Newcastle Tim Crakanthorp after NSW Premier Chris Minns announced $230,000 in funding for the City of Newcastle to install CCTV cameras along Beaumont Street.

The funding follows an unsuccessful grant application and a press conference held by Cr Jenny Barrie on Wednesday, where she called on the NSW Government to fund the project.
