The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Show (11/23/2022)

3:05pm- According to documents obtained by The New York Times, the Colorado Club Q shooting suspect identifies as non-binary and uses “they/them” pronouns. Could this impact hate crime charges that have been brought against the shooter? In the aftermath of the shooting, journalists and news anchors, most notably NBC’s Ben Collins and MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace, began blaming Republican rhetoric for violence against members of the LGBTQ+ community. Will their employers reprimand them for pushing a personally preferred narrative without facts to corroborate those preferences?

3:30pm- When news broke that the Colorado Club Q shooting suspect identified as non-binary, CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota and political commentator Errol Louis suggested this may be a ploy by the shooter’s lawyer to help avoid a hate crime conviction.

3:40pm- Congressman Guy Reschenthaler—Represents Pennsylvania’s 14th District and Serves on the House Appropriations Committee & the House Committee on Rules—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his recent editorial for The Hill, “There’s Good Reason to Be Thankful: Democrats Are No Longer in Charge of the People’s House.” Rep. Reschenthaler vows that, when Republicans take control of the House of Representatives at the start of the New Year, his party will begin a series of investigations into federal government misconduct—specifically, Dr. Anthony Fauci for his role in funding gain-of-function research in China and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his repeated failure to secure the U.S. Southern border.

4:10pm- MSNBC National Security Analyst Frank Figliuzzi suggested Tucker Carlson should face civil consequences for the actions of the suspected Colorado Club Q shooter—suggesting the shooter was likely a consumer of the Fox News host’s content.

4:20pm- While appearing on MSNBC, Colorado State Representative Brianna Titone (D) hypothesized that attacks on the LGBTQ+ community have become more prevalent because violent extremists have become emboldened by Donald Trump’s rhetoric.

4:35pm- While speaking on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Ice Cube revealed that he lost out on a $9 million acting opportunity because he refused to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

4:45pm- The Biden Administration has announced yet another pause in student loan repayment—expecting to last through August 2023 or until the constitutionality of student loan forgiveness via executive instruction is determined.

4:50pm- While appearing on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shephard, comedian Jerry Seinfeld mocked Hollywood award shows as nonsensical—pointing out that the awards aren’t based on data or analytics but are entirely subjective.

5:05pm- In the aftermath of the Colorado Springs shooting, NBC Senior Reporter Brandy Zadrozny blamed right-wing media and politicians for vilifying LGBTQ community members and, subsequently, making them targets for violence.

5:30pm- If selected to be Speaker of the House, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy vowed to remove Ilhan Omar, Adam Schiff, and Eric Swalwell from their House Committee positions. The move is in response to Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats voting to remove two Republicans from their committee positions earlier this year.

5:40pm- While attempting to defend Congresswoman Ilhan Omar’s comparison of Israel to terror organizations, Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg outrageously questioned whether Hamas and the Taliban were actually “terrorist communities.”

5:50pm- New Jersey Assemblyman Harold Wirths (R)— 24th District & Minority Budget Officer—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss a Democrat push to limit the Second Amendment, specifically concealed carry laws, in the state. Wirths notes that it seems as though some representatives are more interested in passing legislation that targets law-abiding citizens than dangerous criminals.

6:00pm- Rich hosts The Mark Levin Show from 6pm to 9pm!
