5:00pm- Dr. EJ Antoni—Research Fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Grover M. Hermann Center for the Federal Budget—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss a newly revised Labor Department jobs report which indicates there were 818,000 fewer jobs created in March than initially estimated—an estimation off by nearly 30%.
5:20pm- Cheesesteak Talk: Rich contends that provolone is the best cheesesteak cheese…Matt thinks it’s “whiz”…and Andrew is going provolone…This is riveting radio!
5:25pm- During the DNC Convention on Tuesday night, Second-Gentleman Doug Emhoff—the husband of Vice President Kamala Harris—told boring stories of how he and Harris first met. As Rich notes, the story everyone really wanted to hear was how Emhoff cheated on his first wife with the family’s nanny!
5:30pm- Donald Trump Jr.—Executive Vice President at The Trump Organization—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to breakdown what he has seen so far at the Democratic National Committee Convention in Chicago, Illinois. He explains that although the Harris-Walz campaign is disingenuously pandering to Pennsylvanians, and they can’t be trusted to follow through on their promises—particularly when it comes to the campaign’s new claim that Kamala Harris no longer wants to ban fracking. “The media is running full cover for Kamala Harris—pretending that she’s a moderate. They’re going back and scrubbing articles that are years old—editing, changing them.” He continues, “In Pennsylvania they did this last time. Remember the 2020 Democrat Primary, Kamala Harris and everyone else on the stage raised their hand, they were going to ban fracking. Joe Biden said the same exact thing. And then they get to the debate with Trump: ‘I would never do that’—because they understand it would hurt them in Pennsylvania. Then on day one they banned the Key Stone pipeline. They’ll tell you whatever they need to tell you to get your vote and then they’ll do the opposite.” Plus, Don Jr. answers the most important question: what’s the best cheese for a cheesesteak?
5:45pm- According to reports, Independent Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to drop out of the race on Friday. He’ll make the announcement in Phoenix, Arizona—the same city Donald Trump will be campaigning in. ABC News says Kennedy has not officially made a decision to endorse the Trump-Vance campaign.
5:50pm- If Robert Kennedy Jr. drops out of the race, how will his absence impact critical swing states? According to RealClearPolitics polling averages, Donald Trump gets a 0.8 point boost in Arizona, a 0.5 point boost in Wisconsin, a 0.4 point boost in Michigan, and a 2.2 point boost in Pennsylvania.
