Verd is a dynamic young artists from Durban in KwaZulu Natal Province in South Africa. He featured prominently at the MOSHITO Music Conference at SABC in Johannesburg in 2015. He has won numerous awards in locally and internationally.

Rhythms of Africa is a Music Program on Channel Africa, Voice of the African Renaissance, focusing on various music idioms throughout the African Continent. It features internationally acclaimed artists like Salif Keita; Angelique Kidjo; Gloria Bosman; Caiphus Semenya; Ladysmith Black Mambazo and many more. Budding artists are also given a platform. 

The idea behind the program is to develop, preserve and promote the rich multicultural talent of the African Continent through airplay and interviews of various artists and styles.
