OMO PHOLA is an Afro-Pop artist from Nigeria. He started his music at a very young age. His versatility has seen him mixing different sounds ranging from Afro-Pop/Soul &Hip-Hop styles. He is very topical in his compositional style, if he sees something fascinating he writes a song, this is how the song “Ayoyo” was composed after he saw a beautiful lady dancing somewhere in a Johannesburg night club. He has performed at numerous restaurants around Lagos in Nigeria and Johannesburg in South Africa. He is planning to take his music to the rest of the African Continent and United States of America.

Rhythms of Africa is a Music Program on Channel Africa, Voice of the African Renaissance, focusing on various music idioms throughout the African Continent. It features internationally acclaimed artists like Salif Keita; Angelique Kidjo; Gloria Bosman; Caiphus Semenya; Ladysmith Black Mambazo and many more. Budding artists are also given a platform. 

The idea behind the program is to develop, preserve and promote the rich multicultural talent of the African Continent through airplay and interviews of various artists and styles.
