Amanda Benedicta Antony, popularly known by her stage name, Amanda Black, is South African Singer-Songwriter and Recording artist who achieved recognition in 2016 following the release of her hit single “AMAZULU”. In 2017 she won three South African Music Awards (SAMA). Originally, she comes from Eastern Cape Province in South Africa.

Rhythms of Africa is a Music Program on Channel Africa, Voice of the African Renaissance, focusing on various music idioms throughout the African Continent. It features internationally acclaimed artists like Salif Keita; Angelique Kidjo; Gloria Bosman; Caiphus Semenya; Ladysmith Black Mambazo and many more. Budding artists are also given a platform. 

The idea behind the program is to develop, preserve and promote the rich multicultural talent of the African Continent through airplay and interviews of various artists and styles.
