Ron Friesen is a spiritual director. He’s also an educator, community activist, pastor, shepherd, counselor, and author. Most of all, he’s a servant, going where God calls him.

That journey has taken him many places, from Canada to Phoenix, to founding two churches, serving the unhoused, and hospice chaplaincy.

Ron has a heart for people of all ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds, and counsels clients with abuse issues, those who struggle with addiction and post-traumatic stress disorder. He is a light of hope for the mentally ill, not just in traditional health care centers, but providing therapy in the prisons.

He takes that all that lived experience and teaches as a adjunct professor at Grand Canyon University bringing up a new generation of helpers.

Ron shows us what just one person can do to change countless lives.
