Jen’s top tips for your garden design, having recently been through the process with Kerry are:

• Why it’s worthwhile investing in an actual design rather than winging it - DIY the installation instead if budget is limited
• The merit of getting mature trees in the ground or thinking ahead to what you might need and buying juvenile plants ahead of when you need them
• The reasons for painting or staining your fence and shed black, and investing the money for a new fence in the planting instead
