George Chapman's memoir, "The Boy from Boyanup," launching at his 90th birthday (Oct 9).

The Boy from Boyanup: My Wonderful Journey is not simply the record of a successful media career. It is a deeply personal account of family, loss, opportunity, friendship, resilience and the willingness to begin again.

Told with warmth, honesty and humour, the memoir also captures the extraordinary evolution of broadcasting-from the golden age of radio and the arrival of television to FM radio, satellite communications and the digital era.

Featuring five colour photographic galleries, this premium edition is both an inspiring life story and a valuable personal record of Australian broadcasting history.
