ANZAC history book about a group of Aussies who, after escaping German prison trains in Yugoslavia in WW2, became embroiled in Serbia’s civil war (royalist Četniks under Draza Mihailovic versus communist Partisans under Josip Broz Tito). Anzac Guerrillas (publishing 30 July) closely follows the adventures of two escapees, Castlemaine mineworker Ross Sayers and North Richmond storeman Ronald Jones, who became double agents and guerrillas fighters to survive
