Host Martin Tanner interviews Ron Esplin, Gerrit Dirkmaat and Brent Rogers on the new Brigham Young Papers project. Volume one of Brigham Young's diaries is now available in book stores. The BY Papers Project is massive in scope, many times larger than the JS Papers project.  Not all of it will be published. Most will be online. An example of the scope.  JS wrote and received a total of just over 600 letters.  BY wrote about 10,000 letters and received more than 30,000. JS lived 14 years after the Church was established.  BY was a member and leader for over 42 years.  The quality of scholarship and published copies is just as high for the BY Papers project as for the JS Papers project.
