Have you wondered whether God and Jesus have a sense of humor?  In this episode of Religion Today, host Martin Tanner give some examples of the hundreds of places in the Bible where humor is appropriately used by God, Jesus, the Apostle Paul, Prophet Elijah and others to make an appropriate point.  Because we read scriptures with a serious mind set, because we do not recognize humor in 410 year old King James Bible English, we miss much of the humor it contains.  Humor in the Bible is not gratuitous, it is done to make a point.  Once you learn how to spot humor in the Bible, it will open up new ways to understand certain episodes.
