What is salvation for faithful Christians?  What is their ultimate destiny? Many of today's Christian denominations believe God is limited in what he has in store for the faithful.  But Catholics, the Orthodox faith, some protestant denominations, the Early Christian Church Fathers, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, believe, based on Bible scriptures, that humans can become deified, in essence, become gods, below God the Father and Jesus.   2 Peter 1:2-4 God's "divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life . . . .  Through these he has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you might participate in the divine nature[.]"
