In the past two years Red FM has been pioneer in promoting independent music. It goes without saying that independent music scene in India was more or less dying before the advent of Social media but gave it a breather. But to make it the next big thing support from mainstream media was needed and that's when Red FM pitched in with Red Indies to give a platform to budding independent musicians. With shows like Indie hain hum and Red Indies Debut we gave a much needed to boost to independent music scene and further to our resolve of strengthening Independent music scene, Red FM is converting the afternoon show of all the Hindi speaking markets into a 2 hour special dedicated to Indie music
