September is “Recovery Month” a series of nationwide events intended to shine a light on the issues surrounding substance abuse and treatment. Our guest are Jennifer King and Hank Owens of The Council of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Jennifer is the council’s Executive Director, Hank the manager of the Philadelphia office of ProAct. Together, along with their colleagues ,they are the driving force behind “Recovery Walks” on September 21 in Philadelphia. The walk, in its 20th year expects to draw over 30,000 people.
