A confrontation ended in a young man’s death. Charged with murder and ultimately sentenced for manslaughter, Peter would spend 14 and a half years behind bars.

Belinda brings her own story. Having lived through coercive control in a previous relationship, she understands how abuse hides behind silence, shame and normalization. Together, they now work to break the patterns that shaped both their lives.
