John Solomon and Amanda Head sit down with U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon on how to return power to parents—school choice, local control, and ending D.C. overreach in the classroom.
McMahon’s “Returning Education to the States” push, the Education Freedom Tax Credit (taking effect Jan. 1, 2027), parental-rights enforcement, and the administration’s “hard reset” to put families—not federal bureaucrats—first.
Who decides what kids learn, where they go to school, and what parents are allowed to know? McMahon argues parents are the first decision-makers. Critics say shrinking the Education Department risks services and civil-rights enforcement.
Should parents—not Washington—hold the final say over their child’s education? Drop your answer below.
