Determined to help, he made his way toward Lower Manhattan and ultimately gave his life in the line of duty. His sacrifice became the inspiration for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which continues his legacy by supporting America’s fallen and catastrophically injured first responders, military service members, veterans, and their families.
