On Saturday, November 23rd, South Elgin kicks off winter a little early with a day full of fun perfect for anyone who can't wait for the holiday season. Kim Wascher, director of South Elgin Parks and Recreation, joins Ray Stevens to highlight some of the activities at An Almost Winter Day, including an ice sculptor, bonfire, a tree decorating contest and a visit from Santa Claus.
